| What are Thought Essentials? |
| Thought Essentials are a few basic ideals that are designed to foster creativity and quash nay-saying attitudes. Before we can become truly visionary – before we can walk a path of Enlightened Thought – we must put aside prior thought patterns and reinvent ourselves as individuals and organizations. We must reevaluate our views on almost everything and be willling to accept that what we think we know may not be accurate nor ideal. This does not insinuate that we must change everything about ourselves or our organizations, at least not all at once, rather that we must be willing to consider change a welcome friend and ally. Those who embrace change have a tremendous advantage over those who do not. |
| Basically, what we're talking about here is "thinking outside the box" (to use a more familiar term) in everything we do everyday. Sound simple? It is. And it's not. Changing mindset takes both patience and effort. Changing the mindset of an entire organization can be a tremendous undertaking, but well worth it and not just in the end. Simply beginning the journey with a willing attitude is likely to produce many fruitful ideas, and will result in some immediate gains. It's amazing what can be accomplished simply by trying! |
